To form unity and establish solidarity and mutual assistance among the operators or owners of the public transport vehicles; to organize activities and make a contribution to the creation of a system concerning the transportation of passengers and goods; to engage in trade activities in order to protect the economic interests of its members; to develop the public transportation and freight business in the Turkish Cypriot Community in order to decrease the density of traffic and thus prevent traffic accidents, environment and noise pollution; to give training to the bus, lorry, and minibus drivers in order to have safe and good quality public transportation; in general, to give training to drivers about traffic rules and road usage. |
